SteelStar was formed in April of 2004 with the joining forces of two successful companies - Custom Design & Fabrication Inc. which was established in 1997 specializing in stairs, handrails, decorative store fixtures components and displays and McLean’s Steel Fabrication and Installation which was established in January 1999 specializing in Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection.

Today, SteelStar Corporation provides in-house services such as engineering, detailing & fabrication of structural steel from 1-2500 tons, miscellaneous and ornamental metals such as circular stairs, trellis structures, bell towers and canopies, stainless and aluminum fabrication.

SteelStar has a new 34,000-sq.foot fabrication plant, complete with an automated material handling system, CNC drill line, CNC angle line, and CNC flame/plazma burn tables. SteelStar is a one-stop shop for the commercial and industrial contractors that are building America. As a result, more than 85 percent of SteelStar’s business is from repeat clients.
